Everything that matters about EMS training — short and straight.
EMS stands for electrical muscle stimulation. Dry electrodes in the suit send gentle bioelectrical impulses that activate your muscles on top of your own effort — like an amplifier. That way you train up to 90% of your muscles at once, and 20 minutes is often enough.
In principle anyone in good health who is cleared for sport in general. Exceptions: pregnancy, cardiac pacemakers, neurological conditions, advanced diabetes, cardiovascular disease, cancer or tumours, tuberculosis. If you have any complaints, talk to your doctor first.
EMS saves time, is easier on your joints and also reaches the deep muscle layers. Instead of training each muscle on its own, EMS training activates around 90% of your muscles at the same time — so your 20 minutes replace several hours of conventional training.
Yes. EMS is an effective way to train exactly the deep back muscles that are hard to reach otherwise. That stabilises the spine, improves posture and can noticeably ease existing complaints — an effect that several studies have documented.
In the studio you train by appointment with a personal trainer. The home concept is for anyone who wants to train flexibly, wherever they are — you get your own system plus Clever Training support. Hybrid combines the two.
Flexibility and hygiene: your system is wireless and works anywhere, and wet vests are a thing of the past. You always train in your own suit with dry electrodes — no chasing appointments, no opening hours.
A session takes around 20 minutes. For good results we recommend about two sessions a week.
